I also have 2 BRAND NEW rear KYB-GR2 shocks in the trunk, that will go with the car.The reason i am selling this car is because i cannot afford to keep it any more because of my continuously dwindling paychecks at my job, and i have outstanding bills and loans that i need to pay off.I’m very sad to see it go, I love this car; but tough times call for desperate measures. DESCRIPTION:

Our 1998 Pontiac Firebird Formula/Trans Am is one beautiful and fast automobile! The brilliant white paint shines so bright that its sometimes hard to look at in the sunlight. The light gray/dark gray/black interior looks great too! This car has been excellently maintained mechanically, cosmetically and electronically over the years. It is a two-owner car, but the first owner only had it for 8 months before the second owner bought it and kept it for 13 years until they just traded it into our dealership. This powerful sports car runs great and drives very nice. There is gobs of power when you plant your right foot into the pedal and the wheels will spin and smoke when the traction control is off (not that I tried that or anything). There is a pronounced roar from the tires when driving from some uneven tire wear. As with any car of this age, it is now due for some additional maintenance, but nothing major. Here is the list: It needs it's 100K service performed, there is a very small fluid leak in the steering rack, it needs an alignment, the tires are worn and could stand to be replaced soon because they are cupping and roar quite a bit when driving, and lastly there is an occasional small miss in the engine at idle most likely due to a clogged fuel filter. That's it for mechancial issues with this car. Nothing that needs to be done right away and nothing that is major.

Cosmetically, this car looks great inside and out. The exterior paint and body is beautiful with hardly a scratch or nick anyhwere. I will list the exterior blemishes now: The front bumper has a few very tiny scratches on the point in the center at the bottom beneath the license plate, the hood has one tiny chip on the front edge, the left door has a couple light scratches at the rear, the left 1/4 panel has one small chip between the gas lid and the wheel, the right 1/4 panel has a couple small black marks up by the rear hatch, the right door has a tiny chip on the handle and rear edge, and the right mirror has a couple tiny chips on the outer edge. That's it for exterior blemishes! All of these chips and/or scratches are very small and not even noticeable unless you get very close-up. A little touch-up paint would make the blemishes disappear.

Inside, the door panels, dash, rear seats, and most other areas look great. The headliner, driver's seat and center console are the only areas where a small blemish exist. The headliner has a tiny cut by the t-tops on both the left and right sides. There is also a small burn mark on the headliner in the fabric between the t-tops (there is no smoke smell at all in this car). The driver's seat has a small hole in the leather down low on the outside bolster. The rest of that seat and all the other seats in this car look great. In the center console, the plastic trim cover that holds the traction control rocker switch is loose and the volume knob on the audio system doesn't work properly. It sometimes turns the volume up when you turn it to lower the volume and it sometimes does the opposite as well. That's it for interior blemishes.

Electronically, this car has no issues!
