1994 Chevy K1500 Silverado Z-71 4×4 Extended Cab In ’94 this was a top-of-the-line pickup. I have owned it since 1997 and really hate to see it go. Overall, it is still in great shape. However, it was recently involved in an accident and has some body damage on the passenger side. Frame is straight, and nothing inside the frame rails is damaged. It still drives great, and the engine runs like its brand new. All you need to do to get it street legal again is fix the turn signal lens. 350 ci (5.7 L) engine, automatic transmission. 175K miles. Captain’s chairs, center console, Z-71 off-road package, towing package, etc. I have a clear title to it, but the insurance company has submitted paperwork to the state saying it was totalled. I am arguing that because it is still road worthy, but it will probably be converted to a salvage or total loss title sometime soon. However, you can still drive it, insure it, etc. with a salvage title. To get it completely fixed you will need to replace the grill and one turn signal, replace the passenger side front fender, repair the dent on the cab behind the passenger door (door is not damaged and opens fine), and repair or replace the front bumper. One of the fog lights has a cracked lens, the windshield is cracked, and the passenger side mirror broke off. It also needs a new A/C compressor (heat works great) and a new alternator bearing. (The Mean Green 200 amp alternator still works fine, but the bearing is making some slight noise.) As you can see in the pictures, the clear coat is peeling off but the paint is still there. There is rust on the toolbox, a little on the rear bumper and the driver’s side nerf bar, but no rust on the body that I can see. The interior is in good condition with the exception of some stains on the carpet and minor wear on the driver’s seat.
